and hand blow technique.

melted glass is blown into the mold and buffed later on.
Manufactureres of mass market glasses also use molds.
Melted glass has a glossy smooth surface.
When you use mold, those surfase are obliged to touch the mold,
that means the original glossy surfase of the glass loses it's texture.

ガラス専用の道具を使って整形していきます
In case of hand blown glass, we do not use mold,
we use special tool for making the form from the melted glass.
型を使わないので型がガラスに 触れない分
溶けてたガラス本来の艶、輝き、曲線美が生まれるという訳です
Since we do not use mold, the melted glass do not touch the mold,
that produces the original gloss, shine, curvy beauty.
